The FCA require us to provide you with an Initial Disclosure Document to help you decide if our services are right for you. This document provides information about Nationwide Vehicle Contracts Limited, the products we offer, the services we will provide, what we charge for our services, who regulates us, what to do if you have a complaint, and details about the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Simplecarlease Limited Trading as Simple Car lease is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our firms reference number is 808476. Registered in England and Wales. Our registered office : Thorpe Park Business Park, 1200 Century Way, Thorpe Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS15 8ZA. We are a credit broker and not a lender, which means we can introduce you to a limited number of finance providers, and they may pay us a commission to do this. What products do we offer?
We offer a range of vehicle leasing facilities using a panel of carefully selected lenders and funders. In some instances, we also receive a commission from these lenders. We will only quote you on Contract Hire, Personal Contract Hire and Finance Lease products, so we also recommend you look elsewhere for quotes on Personal Contract Purchase or Hire Purchase, if you might require them.
What services do we provide?
We will provide you with general information about our finance products and answer any questions you might have, and we will send you quotations based on the rates offered by our selected funders. Throughout this process, we will ask for information regarding your personal circumstances and objectives, to help us identify your needs. It’s really important you provide us with accurate information to help us narrow down the information and offers we send you.
When we send you a quotation, we will also provide you with our ‘Key Features of Leasing’ document, which outlines the main features and limitations of Contract Hire and Personal Contract Hire, to help you make your own choice on whether to proceed.
What will you have to pay us for our service?
We charge an administration fee of £195+VAT for our service. This is payable when you place your order with us, after your application for finance has been approved. We do not charge you to apply for a credit line with our lenders. We will send you a separate ‘Information Notice’ with your order form to make sure you are aware of this. You may also have a 14 cooling off period after placing your order with us, but if you cancel after this cooling-off period has ended, you will have to pay a cancellation fee equal to 3 months rental, plus any costs passed on to us by the supplying dealership.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
Throughout the process of obtaining finance for you, we will need to collect personal information from you. We work with a with a panel of funders, funding partners and franchise dealerships to create our offers, and we will need to share your information with them for the purposes of approving your credit application, ordering your new vehicle and arranging your delivery.
As part of the process of obtaining finance for your vehicle we will need to pass your details on to one or more of our finance providers. A list of these partners is available on request together with their FCA firm reference numbers. Any organisation approached to arrange credit will need to undertake credit searches with a credit reference agency which could affect your credit rating. All our calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office for the purposes of Data Protection and we will not sell your information on; our registered number is ZA391804.
What to do if you have a complaint
We work hard to ensure that the services we offer are fair and that our communication to our customers is clear and not misleading. However, if you are unhappy with our service and you wish to register a complaint, please contact us:

To help us resolve your problem, you should provide the following information:
- Your full name and contact information
- Full details of your complaint
- Your lease agreement details
- Details of what you would like us to do to put things right
- Photocopies of any relevant paperwork
We will answer any complaints as quickly as possible but always within eight weeks.
If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
